HUES EXHIBITION
I had the exciting opportunity to work on a live brief, developing a full brand identity for an upcoming exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, Sheffield. Centred around the vibrant world of colour, the Exhibition explores a diverse range of themes celebrating its meaning, impact, and expression.
With so much creative freedom, I aimed to make the identity bold, energetic, and inclusive, something that would appeal to both children and adults, and still complement the exhibit pieces. I experimented with textures made from everyday materials like paper, rice, bubbles, and paint to show how analogue techniques can create really dynamic, playful design.
I explored advertising posters, invitation design, and wayfinding, all tied together through a consistent visual identity. Seeing everything come together as one cohesive brand was a real accomplishment. I focused more on wayfinding to show how the identity could enhance the user experience across all touchpoints.
