I spent an afternoon volunteering at “Roots” Rotherham’s first Children’s Capital Of Culture Event. This even took place in Rotherham town centre, and presented  series of creative activities, workshops and a carnival parade for all ages. As part of my voluntary work, I accompanied a group of enthusiastic Year 8 pupils through a series of creative workshops designed to inspire artistic exploration and self-expression.
